Voorhees Pediatric Facility

Voorhees Pediatric Facility, located at 1304 Laurel Oak Road in Voorhees, New Jersey, is a nursing facility for children from birth to age 21 who have special nursing care needs. The facility serves kids who are medically fragile or need technology to help them live, such as tracheostomies or ventilators, and cares for many different conditions, including critical airways, seizure disorders, neuromuscular diseases, chromosomal issues, traumatic injuries, orthopedic problems, craniofacial anomalies, spica cast management, wound care, and IV therapy. There are 119 in-patient beds, making this place one of the country's largest for pediatric ventilator programs, and the staff focuses on providing a safe, comfortable setting with high nursing care. School-aged children go to The Bancroft School at VPF, which is found within the building, and that program works with students ages 3 to 21, including those who are very fragile and rely on medical technology, and the classrooms are specially designed to fit medical needs and devices, so young people can learn while being cared for. This is the first New Jersey Department of Education-approved private school located inside a pediatric care center, which is a unique partnership between Bancroft and Voorhees Pediatric Facility.
